Product Description
A day Rebels will never forget: stopping Limerick becoming the first team in history to win five All-Ireland titles in a row and getting to an All-Ireland final themselves. A sensational goal from Brian Hayes in the first half set Cork on their way with their third quarter dominance sealing the deal. The all-conquering Treaty went out like true champions fighting to the bitter end, reducing a seven point deficit to just two but Cork did enough to squeeze into the final to meet Clare - a repeat of the 2013 final which The Banner won. Having lost their opening Munster championship rounds to Waterford and Clare in late April, the Rebels weren't given much of a chance of getting out of Munster yet here they are, two months later, in an All-Ireland final.
